Berry Crumble

In my free time i love to cook, so i've decided to post some quick and easy recipes here because after all, this blog is about everything i love, and as i said i love to cook and love pictures of food, so i figured why not share some recipes once in a while.
I even have a cooking blog with my bestfriend ( http://donna-dulce.blogspot.com/ ), but it's a bit neglected due to not having enough free time :) however, every recipe that will be posted here, will be featured on the other blog as well.
I really hope i can make this kind of posts a regular thing, but i can't promise anything, all i can promise is that i'll do my best.

So, for this yummy berry crumble you'll need:

  • 2 cups of flower
  • 2 cups of oats
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 150gr butter
  • berries of your choice - around 500gr (i had strawberries and blueberries, even though blackberries are my favorite )
  • 2 tsp vanilla powder ( you can also add cinnamon and lemon or orange zest for an extra flavor )
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • vanilla ice cream ( the crumble it's delicious to eat on it's own, but it's best if you serve it with ice cream )

Step 1. Pre-heat the oven on 200 ' C
Step 2. Mix the flower, the oats, the cup of sugar and the butter, until the butter it's disintegrated, and then add half of the batter onto a baking pan.
Step 3: Add the fruit on top of the batter that's in the pan, and sprinkle vanilla powder and two tbsp additional sugar on top of it.
Step 4: Add the rest of the batter on top of the berries.
Step 5: Bake for 45min maximum - you'll know it's ready when the surface of the berry crumble gets golden brown, and the fruit is all melted and bubbly.
Step 6: Serve it with ice cream of your choice ( best being vanilla ) and enjoy.

  4. Okay I have to say your intro caught my eye because I don't know many girls who love horror movies like I do. I'm always tweeting about watching horror movies alone cause none of my girlfriends like to watch with me! And I've seen every zombie movie there is - even parodies! lol

I'll be back at your page - glad I found ya! :)
