Here I am, in Mexico ( Cozumel ), in one of my favorite places, eating waffles and drinking latte, as usual.
Wait, wait, wait... how did I get here? Well...
One day, few months ago, I realized that I was doing nothing productive with my life, and since I am someone who likes doing drastic changes every once in a while, I decided to start working as a photographer far from home. How? Cruise ships.
I'll be writing more about ship life and being far from home, and meeting people from all over the world, and I'll write all the details from my experience from beginning to the end, when I get home ( which is January )... For now I just wanted to write a little update post, cause I missed writing so much. The internet here doesn't really allow me to write every week, and also my crazy schedule, of course.
All I'm gonna say for now is that this is really a bittersweet experience. You're far from home, you miss home, you even miss the things you hated, work here is hard, yet you get to travel around the world, see new places, you meet people from all over the world, they become more than friends to you, they become family, and the fact that you might not see them ever again when your contract end is so sad. So... I don't know. I'll just share few pictures from Mexico from now, but just few, cause I have A LOT, but all of them unedited, so... I'll leave all the 'hard' work for when I get home. Right now, I kinda wanna enjoy the moment, and continue drinking my coffee and eating my waffles... in the middle of Mexico.
Who would have thought...
