Feel Good Saturday ~ Silver Sun ☼

I got used to going on mini road trips or hiking every weekend, especially when it's a sunny day like this bright and shiny Saturday, but today i'm gonna stay at home and spend my day on the internet, watching some Tv-shows/movies, listening to music or binge watching youtube videos. Why you ask? It's because i'm feeling a little bit under the weather, probably cause i ate ice-cream just a few days ago and i mean come on, it's February, what was i thinking, d'uh. Joke aside, i really need a day off just to relax and do nothing, because i'm so busy and all over the place over the week. And even though today is such a beautiful sunny day, and i'm very tempted to go out, i won't. Usually, on a days like these, when i'm staying home i clean my room or do something productive, but not today. So, it's gonna be a relaxed Saturday ☕...

And here's photo of myself casually lying on my bed ( which is not even mine, i'm in my parents' bedroom cause my room is currently under construction, but let's not go there, it's a totally different story ) with my jeans on, ofc, totally normal. Oh, the things i'd do for an instagram photo.

Feel Good Saturday ~ Coffee

I cannot explain my obsession with coffee, i love drinking it, i love taking pictures of it, i love everything about coffee. Especially when i'm drinking it while i'm reading a book, or doing something else i love, like relaxing on a rainy day, while i'm listening to melancholic songs. I don't drink it to give me an energy boost, i drink coffee to relax.

All i can say is that i love days like these, where my main concern is what kind of coffee should i drink and deciding on what to read to keep me entertained, book or newspaper. I also love reading a lot, and when i combine reading + coffee + rainy weather = perfect Saturday.

New In: Two Shades of Nude

Since it's almost spring and i love me some lipsticks, i wanted to update my lipstick collection with two shades of nude. I picked two, a lighter nude shade that's great for day time ( Au Naturale ) , and brownish darker nude ( Marvelous Mocha ), great for both daytime, but also night, when you don't want to go overboard, but you still want some color on your lips. Both have an orange undertone.

The texture of these lipsticks is something i've never experienced before - it's like a mousse foundation! It's creamy, but dry, but not in a bad way. I really like the texture, even tho i was a bit sceptical at first. The pigmentation it's amazing, you get full coverage with one layer of lipstick. I also love the smell, which i find very important when it comes to lipsticks, because if they have that strong smell of lipstick i get a headache. These are subtle and kind of fruity. Overall, i really like them, and i recommend them if you're looking for matte nudes, with an orange undertone & for a reasonable price. :)

Feel Good Saturday ~ It's Been A While

It's really been a while since i made one of these FeelGoodSaturday posts. There are many reasons behind that, i don't even know where to begin explaining that i've been so busy, i lost track of time, and now i can't even remember when was the last FeelGoodSaturday post, i have to scroll way back on my blog. I've been doing some fun things in the past few months, and i could've made a few posts about those things, but i am honestly obsessed with Instagram, and it's become my photo diary of the things i am doing and my everyday life, so i guess THAT is the main reason why i'm neglecting the blog. Also, there are the not so fun days of my life when i don't feel like doing anything, except for watching ID Discovery, which is a second obsession of mine. So, this rainy morning i felt really productive ( even tho it's gloomy outside and i can't wait for spring ) i got up early, made some pancakes for me and my boyfriend, and i decided to make a quick post, instead of just posting a photo on instagram. So, that's about it. I really hope i'll be making these posts more regularly because they are my absolute favorite. Hope you're all having a great weekend and Happy Valentines day! :)

Honey Glazed (Vegan) Chocolate Cake

Yes, i know that honey isn't considered vegan, but it's only included in the glaze and of course it can be replaced with regular sugar. The actual cake is completely dairy and egg free, but because i'm not vegan i used honey instead of sugar, because i love how honey tastes and i prefer it over regular white sugar.

Also, some (more flexible) vegans eat honey, so here's a different idea for the old and a bit boring chocolate glaze.

The full recipe and video how to make this cake is here. I am not gonna re-write it and i'm not taking credit for it.

My twist on it was the honey glaze, which only has two ingredients: 100 gr of dark chocolate ( melted ) and 3-5 tbsps of honey, depending on how sweet you want it to be.

But i will take credit for the photos, i just LOVE taking photos of food, it's really a passion. :)

I highly recommend trying out this recipe and i hope you enjoy it!
